BIOGRAPHY

    Armand is a physician and attorney who manages the medical malpractice and pharmaceutical / medical device product liability matters in the office. Admitted to the United States Court of Federal Claims in addition to the state bar, Armand also works on the vaccine injury compensation petitions the firm files for children and adults who are injured by vaccines. Armand is admitted to practice medicine and law in New Jersey. He is a Fellow of the College of Legal Medicine and a Fellow of the New York Academy of Medicine. In addition to his personal injury work, Armand has participated as counsel in hearings before the United States Olympic Committee and the American Arbitration Association on labor and sports law matters.

Armand is a graduate of the University of Virginia, New York Medical College and Columbia University Law School. He is board certified in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology, and he practiced as radiologist before becoming a lawyer. His medical training included a surgical internship at Montefiore Hospital in New York, completion of radiology residency at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, NY and being Chief Radiology Resident at Metropolitan Hospital in New York. His legal training included an internship at the General Counsel’s Office of the Food and Drug Administration, commercial litigation associate at Stroock Stroock & Lavan in New York, personal injury attorney at Stern, Stieger, Croland in Paramus, NJ. He co-founded Britcher, Leone & Roth in 2000.

Armand is the past Chairman of the Board of Directors of Rock Community Bank in Glen Rock, NJ and currently is Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bank of New Jersey in Fort Lee, NJ. Having competed in the 1980 Olympics in the equestrian show jumping discipline, Armand remains active in amateur sports as the President and CEO of the United States Equestrian Team Foundation in Gladstone, NJ, and Vice President of High Performance Activities at the United States Equestrian Federation in Lexington, KY.
