About the Attorneys
E. Drew Britcher, Esq.
Co-founder of Britcher, Leone & Sergio and head of its trial practice, Mr. Britcher concentrates on complex medical negligence claims. He has prosecuted and resolved cases totaling hundreds of millions of dollars and is certified by the New Jersey Supreme Court as a Civil Trial Attorney, having been recertified four times. Recognized by Best Lawyers since 2021, he was named among the Top 10 New Jersey Super Lawyers for 2025—his 11th year on the list—earning a #2 ranking statewide. Mr. Britcher has tried nearly 100 cases to verdict and contributed to 45 reported decisions across the New Jersey Supreme Court, Appellate Division, and the U.S. Supreme Court. He co-drafted the New Jersey Patients First and Patient Safety Acts and teaches Medical Malpractice Law at Seton Hall Law School. He is a graduate of Rutgers and New York Law School, where he serves on the Board of Trustees. He resides in Parsippany, NJ.
Armand Leone, Jr., MD, Esq.
A co-founder of the firm and head of its medical malpractice practice, Dr. Leone is both a board-certified diagnostic radiologist and attorney. In addition to his law practice, he serves as counsel and adjudicator in horse racing and international equine sports. He is admitted to practice medicine and law in New Jersey and New York, and is a Fellow of the College of Legal Medicine and the New York Academy of Medicine. Dr. Leone earned degrees from the University of Virginia, New York Medical College, Columbia University Law School, and an MBA in Healthcare and Finance from Columbia University. His medical training included a surgical internship at Montefiore Hospital, residency at Westchester Medical Center, and service as Chief Radiology Resident at Metropolitan Hospital in New York. He resides in Pittstown, NJ.
Tyrone F. Sergio, Esq.
Partner and head of the firm’s Morristown office, Mr. Sergio focuses on personal injury and medical malpractice matters, including wrongful death, product liability, construction accidents, nursing home malpractice, automobile accidents, and premises liability. He has secured significant results for clients, including a $4.5 million motor vehicle accident settlement and a $4 million medical malpractice settlement. Recognized by Best Lawyers since 2024, Mr. Sergio earned his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School and B.A. from Villanova University. He resides in Berkeley Heights, NJ.
Stephen “Skippy” Weinstein, Esq.
Of counsel at Britcher, Leone & Sergio, Mr. Weinstein guides case strategy and new business development. His practice spans medical malpractice, personal injury, wrongful death, brain injury, product liability, construction accidents, and motor vehicle accidents. He has also handled extensive criminal defense work, including more than a dozen murder trials to verdict. Over 40 of his cases have resulted in published opinions.
